Wake up with amnesia, standing in a bistro perched on the boundary between Yin and Yang: a haven for mortal diners by day, and a secret gateway to the Underworld by night. You don’t remember your past, but a mysterious ghost and an ownerless ledger guide you: run the bistro by day, and sneak into the Underworld to forage ingredients under the cover of curfew by night. Your choice defines everything: play it safe, use mortal ingredients to soothe diners’ gentle desires, and accumulate positive karma; or chase quick profits, cook with forbidden Underworld ingredients for huge gains, and sink into negative karma. Every dish is a test of balance, match ingredients to the five elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) that correspond to diners’ emotions (Anger, Joy, Longing, Sorrow, Fear). A wrong match turns your dish into a toxic mess, poisoning guests and damning your karma.
